Tierra Whack Brings Her Eccentric Style to Vans

Although we’re full swing into Fall, it’s been a colorful couple of months over at Vans. Collaborative releases with partners like MOCA and Awake NYC have strayed away from the typical Autumn color palette that we see this time of year. The Tierra Whack x Vans Collection brings even more colorful eccentricity with a full apparel and footwear lineup.

To put the collection together, Whack worked with her longtime stylist Shirley Kurata, who has previously worked with Pharrell in the past. Tierra and Shirley do what they do best by putting together vibrant pieces that use an array of colors, shapes, and patterns. Alongside the apparel, the collection features a Vans Old Skool, Style 36, Half Cab, and Vans Standard Snow MTE.

The Vans Old Skool has a checker-print base and features a bold multicolor “WHACK” graphic on the side of the sneaker. The midsole is printed with “Weird Hype and Creative Kids” in multicolor text as well. The Vans Style 36 has an all-over cream makeup with a bright blue midsole that matches the hairy suede laces. For the Vans Half Cab, the sneaker gets dressed in eye-catching patterns of yellow, green, and checker-print orange. The collection takes a turn by including the Vans Standard Snow MTE, which mimics a classic rain boot with bright yellow patent leather.

The entire Tierra Whack x Vans Collection will be available on December 3, 2021. You’ll be able to purchase the apparel and footwear from Vans.com, as well as select retailers. For more Vans releases and updates on all your favorite sneakers, follow @NiceKicks on Twitter.
