By 1997, Michael Jordan had already cemented his legacy as being arguably the greatest player of his generation. Up until the aforementioned year, Michael had already amassed 4 NBA MVP trophies, 5 NBA championships, 5 NBA Finals MVPs, Defensive Player of The Year and 12 All-Star appearances. Also, let’s not forget, Michael was able to garner all of these illustrious accolades while spending one full season away from the game as he decide to retire back in 1993.
