The Simpsons x adidas collaboration has seen iconic adidas silhouettes such as the Forum Low and Superstar take on Springfield-inspired vibes and it continues on by stopping by the house next to 742 Evergreen Terrace for inspiration on the adidas McCarten.
The adidas McCarten debuted in the 1970s and definitely gives off dad vibes, which perfectly encapsulates Ned Flanders. The dark olive leather is inspired by Ned’s sweater and used on the base of the shoe with chocolate brown suede making up the toebox, tongue, and overlays. The pink liner brings a pop of color to the shoe, which Ned wears underneath his sweater and minimal branding is seen, just the Trefoil emblem on the lateral side is used. A black crepe midsole with octagon-shaped patterns on the outsole finishes off the sneaker, which comes in a special box featuring Ned in front of his store, The Leftorium.
