Reebok and The Boston Globe have announced a unique partnership for Black History Month. The brand and the news organization have announced its collaborative A Beautiful Resistance series.

The series celebrates Black History Month the way it should be celebrated — a telling of stories that highlight Black joy, Black wellness, and Black futures rather than trauma.

As we celebrate Black History month, it’s important to ensure we have a Black future. It’s essential to tell our stories of joy, of wellness, of life.

Collaborating with Reebok to focus on wellness as a form of resistance, too? It’s powerful. Celebrate Black lives while we’re here.

Jeneé Osterheldt, culture columnist at The Boston Globe and founder of A Beautiful Resistance.

Three short films and other stories are will run on Globe.com and across the Globe and Reebok’s social media platforms, with emphasis on the brands’ Instagram and YouTube channels.

The series is accessible now over on The Boston Globe. Keep it locked on Nice Kicks for more from Reebok.
