TEDxPortland Nike Waffle Racer “What If?”

TEDxPortland celebrates this year?s “What If?” theme with a special makeup of the Nike Waffle Racer. Inspired by the famous waffle sole discovery, this retro runner takes on a red nylon base with blue branding and suede accents. Themed tagging graces the tongue, with insole art provided by Portland graphic designer Jake Holloman. Nike?s Adam Welliver and Gemo Wong designed these kicks as a special gift for the event speakers and organizing committee. Five pairs will be raffled at the event on August 27th, while the general public will have a chance to win a pair via scavenger hunt this Saturday. Click here for details on the giveaway.
