Nice Kicks is back again with a new episode of Support Her Sole, presented by Hibbett Sports. Written, cast, produced, and edited by an all-female team, Support Her Sole aims to uplift women that are trailblazing their way through the sneaker community.
Host of the series, Jasmine Sweet, gives us a breakdown of how the supporting women in her life have helped her turn her passion into a business, provide for her family, and create a legacy for generations to come. These are the types of bridges that we hope to build for the women featured throughout the Support Her Sole series and beyond.
Episode 2 features Nia Symone and Bianca DeRousse, two leading women in the world of sportswear and media. Nia Symone is a former D1 Basketball player from Alabama State University and is currently the host of Nike’s YouTube series “Come Thru.” Similar to Nia, Bianca DeRousse is a mover-and-shaker in media and hosts a weekly women-centered Instagram live series called #SneakerSundays. Both Nia and Bianca use their platforms to tell the stories of women, by women and for women — because at the end of the day, women supporting women is the only way through.
