Nike Taps Stussy for a Vibrant “Action Green” LD-1000 SP

For this upcoming collaboration, Nike has tapped OG street and surf brand Stussy for a reworked take on its LD-1000 SP running shoe.

The Nike LD-1000 SP, which debuted in the early 1970s, was at the time one of the most innovative and boundary-pushing models. Unfortunately, the LD-1000 SP was recalled due to safety concerns.

Now the pair has been reworked at the hands of Stussy, sporting a mesh and suede upper in action green. Contrasting hits of black arrive on the unique Swooshes, heels, liners, and rubber outsole. Rounding out the final design cues are the Stussy logos on the heels and tongue labels, as well as the special wording on the inner heels and tongues.
