Yup, Air Max Day is only ten days away. The tech toting holiday has proven to be a social celebration/IRL opp to wear and showcase some of the best retro runners as well as Nike’s newest innovations involving the pivotal cushioning system. Perhaps a hybrid of all eras and potential release is this “Air Max Day” colorway of the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Flyknit.
Previewed by Sean Wotherspoon of Round 2, this colorway takes the volt midsole that graced previous AM Day exclusives and adds it to a Flyknit version of the OG Air Max 1 colorway. As you know, our own Matt Halfhill is a big fan of the AM1 Ultra Flyknit and the tongue tagging could point to the latest surprise from the Swoosh.
