Proceeds will be used for a scholarship fund to San Jose State University in her honor.
Shoe Palace has partnered with Charitybuzz, Jason Markk and the family of SP Gina to auction off her collection of Jordan Brand and Nike shoes.
The auction is dedicated to the memory of the one-of-a-kind sneakerhead, influencer and elementary school teacher, Virginia “SP Gina” Wright who passed away in 2023.
Gina had over 200 pairs that she lovingly wore and collected over the years, including the Air Jordan 1 “Gina” from 2019. Gina remains the only non-celebrity to receive her own shoe from the Jordan Brand.
Gina clearly left an indelible mark on her students and on the global sneaker community, and we’re honored to help continue her legacy through this Shoe Palace collaboration.
We look forward to auctioning the collection to raise important funds for Gina’s scholarship at San Jose State.
