After a successful 4/20 release of the adidas Campus “Towelie,” adidas and South Park partner yet again with the South Park x adidas Superstar “Kyle.” This announcement comes just after the unveiling of the adidas Stan Smith “Stan Marsh” which was revealed last week.
Above all else, Kyle Broflovski brings a voice of reason to South Park and it’s only right that he would be represented by the adidas Superstar. This iconic silhouette is typically no funny-business and is one of the most reliable sneakers you can have in your closet. The sneaker uses Kyle’s classic color scheme with shades of green and orange. The base has sleek emerald leather that is accented with orange laces. The tongue also comes in orange and is finished with a pocket detail on the top, paying homage to Kyle’s signature jacket. The adidas Three-Stripes and heel tab are made to look like Kyle’s beanie with fuzzy lime green wool. To complete the look, the sneaker is finished with an eggshell colored midsole and shell toe.
The South Park x adidas Superstar “Kyle” is set to release sometime in 2022, hopefully right after the new year. The retail price is $100.
