Social Status and Nike are teaming up again as the duo initiates a second offering of the Nike Dunk. Similar to the low tops, the offerings take inspiration from the free lunch programs provided by public school programs during the summer months.
Like its predecessor, the offering is layered with velour and leather materials along with a semi-translucent Swoosh resting on its side. Hints of brown make up a majority of the upper resembling chocolate milk cartons. Co-branding is seen on the tongues, lateral ankle, and inserts. To wrap up the design, the offering is packaged in a special box mimicking a milk carton.
The Social Status x Nike “Free Lunch” Dunk “Chocolate Milk” dropped locally and on SocialStatusPGH.com last week, but a wider SNKRS release date has been set for September 17th which will retail for $130.
