Sweden meets Japan with the upcoming SNS x adidas GT “Tokyo.” This sneaker is an update to the original adidas Stockholm GT and takes influence from the vibrant energy of Tokyo.
The adidas GT first released in 1980 and this “Tokyo” edition keeps the retro silhouette intact. The upper is constructed with vibrant violet suede inspired by the Edo period of Japan. The signature adidas Three-Stripes get dressed in crisp white leather which matches the shoelaces. The tongue and heel tab are crafted with purple leather and gold branding elements. The upper sits atop a gum rubber Handball Spezial midsole for an archival finish with modern performance.
