Sneakers have ascended beyond footwear pieces, largely due to its rise in cultural relevancy. Pairs have appeared not only on other’s feet, but on their bodies as tattoos or on canvas as artwork. In this upcoming project from SneakerToons, the latter has been channeled, albeit a little different, with an incense sculpture of the iconic adidas ZX silhouette arriving today.
SneakerToons and world-class sculptor Phil Hosking decided to recapture the adidas spirit through 30 limited sculptures, 15 arriving in a gloss black and the other 15 arriving in a gloss white. The sculptures were produced with premium automotive paints and lacquers, with a 24-K gold plated Torsion piece inserted into the sole.
The SneakerToons 3D ZX Incense Sculpture is set to debut for pre-order today at 8:30 pm UK time through their website.
