Previewed last week, Louisiana-based Sneaker Politics today vindicates their new collaboration with Reebok and Shaquille O’Neal.
Paying tribute to his alma mater, Louisiana State University, the Shaq Attaq highlights the Tigers school colors which equally give off a Mardi Gras vibe. The purple and yellow aesthetic is also reminiscent of O’Neal’s time in Los Angeles with the Lakers, although this release is strictly inspired by Louisiana.
The Sneaker Politics x Reebok Shaq Attaq “Alma Mater” releases on Friday, February 18, at the new Sneaker Politics 216 Chartes Street location in New Orleans. The release will feature an in-store appearance by both Shaq and Dee Brown. An online release will follow later that day at 7pm CST.
