Air Jordan 5 “Laney”
The story of Michael Jordan being cut form his high school team his sophomore, then becoming the greatest of all time, is the stuff of legend. Jordan went on to star on JV squad that season, and become a McDonald’s High School All-American while at Laney High School in Wilmington, NC. The blue and yellow color scheme of his days as a Laney Buccaneer inspired the Air Jordan 5 “Laney”.
