Lace Locks

Clear and concise, the lace lock offered new ways to tighten and loosen long shoe strings. The Air Jordan 5 debuted such a concept. While original pairs feature Nike Air branding, a Jumpman logo appears on the “Black Grape” release.

Overview

The Air Jordan 5 is cut slightly above the ankle, with the medial side and tongue appearing higher for additional support. 2013’s “Black Grape” release borrows the accent colors of the original “Grape” colorway, replacing the white leather base with black durabuck composition. Look for the Air Jordan 5 “Black Grape” to release at select Jordan Brand accounts on June 15th.
