WNBA superstar Skylar Diggins has departed from Nike and signed with PUMA. The RocNation talent joins the likes of Rihanna, Big Sean, The Weeknd and Kylie Jenner as famous faces under contract by the German brand.
As you may recall, Skylar signed with Nike after finishing up at Notre Dame and going pro. She had PE releases — namely her Nike HyperRev 2016 — and was also featured in many campaigns for Swoosh athletic wear.
Diggins is one of many stars under the RocNation umbrella to partner with PUMA as fellow Roc reppers Big Sean and Rihanna currently reside with the brand and big homie Jay Z is currently having his 4:44 Tour sponsored by the sportswear giant.
As for hardwood heroes with PUMA, it’s been a minute. Not since a rookie Raptor Vince Carter has PUMA had a pro basketball player on their roster. While PUMA doesn’t currently make hooping shoes, Diggins will likely endorse their product in campaigns outside of competition much like NFL star Jamaal Charles does with his deal.
For the time being, Diggins is wearing adidas on court.
