Jordan Brand has partnered with Skull Candy, a company known for designing headphones, audio accessories, apparel and other audio-enabled lifestyle products, to produce a limited edition run of “For the Love of the Game” packs. The limited collection (23 in existence) will be boxed in a big, black cargo-like construction and will feature a set of University Blue headphones, a CD Player and of course the sneakers. The Skull Candy x Jordan Brand “For the Love of the Game” Air Jordan 9 Pack will be exclusively at Atmos NYC and House of Hoops by Foot Locker this week.
As for the shoe, its color represents MJ’s UNC roots and heritage, while the heart-shaped “For the Love of the Game” logo stands for his love of the game. Lastly, the sole features multi-lingual details that represent the globalization of Jordan Brand.
