Shoe Palace & Converse Team Up With San Jose Police for Holiday Shoe Drive

The holiday times bring tons of sneaker releases.  Weekend after weekend, the launch list is almost mind blowing with hundreds, if not thousands of dollars worth of shoes releasing week after week starting with Black Friday.  For many less fortunate however, even one pair of $50 Converse Chuck Taylors is out of reach this holiday season.

With a constant commitment to helping their local community, San Jose based Shoe Palace teamed up with Converse and the San Jose Police Activities League to provide brand new shoes for 270 children from their local area.

Given the circumstances for some, not only was this a pair of shoes for the kids, but a Christmas present that couldn’t have been afforded otherwise.

It is easy to get lost in the hype and buzz of the big shoe releases this time of year, but it is good to see those who recognize the need in their local communities during the holiday season.
