Jordan Brand has officially unveiled its upcoming “Why Not?” x Converse Pack, which features two of Russell Westbrook’s favorite silhouettes: the Air Jordan 16 and the Converse Chuck 70. Both models feature a mixed material construction that has been inspired by Westbrook’s gritty play on the court.
Each option comes dressed in luxe leather and silky satin, a nod to Westbrook’s rock and roll-styled leather jackets. Studs have also been incorporated into the silhouettes, while the Air Jordan 16 features a detachable, magnetic shroud, which helps to instantly transform the look of the sneaker. Over on the Converse Chuck 70, the crackled leather is meant to resemble the concrete foundations of street basketball. Both options, of course, spotlight Westbrook’s “Why Not?” logo in silver metal.
