It’s time to get phyigital with the RTKFT x Nike Air Force 1 “Reptile.” This cyber sneaker is part of the RTFKT Clone X Collection which debuts the all-new “forging” system, enabling users to acquire physical merchandise based on their specific NFT. This sneaker, along with the rest of the collection, will be released alongside corresponding apparel totaling to 10 sets and more than 60 individual items.
You’re going to want to snake your way into getting this Nike Air Force 1. Through its Reptile token trait, you can either collect the NFT as a digital wearable or forge it for a physical item. The upper is covered entirely in scaled reptile skin in a shade of neon green. Bright orange highlights dress the outsole, liner, tongue tag, and signature Nike Swoosh. Finishing details include a reptile emblem, chrome gear dubrae, and an RTFKT-inspired Swoosh on the medial.
The RTKFT x Nike Air Force 1 “Reptile” goes live on August 31, 2022. Minting will be open for one week. Visit RTFKT.com for the OpenSea listing. The sneakers are rumored to reach an upwards of $600, but a limited edition Clone X Genesis t-shirt will be free to mint for all holders. Following the mint, users will have the chance to forge their NFTs for physical items. The sneakers will not be available to be forged during this season one event, but will likely have their own forge date at a later time.
