Ronnie Fieg has finally unveiled the Asics Gel Lyte III “Super Red.” Well, kind of. Though this sneak peek is the best view of this anticipated collaboration sneaker that we’ve had to date, it still leaves us hanging with its intentional blur. Light grey nubuck is prominently displayed as the choice color for the toe, midfoot and heel areas. The remainder of the upper is filled out with perforated dark grey nubuck. The same hue has been applied to the split-tongue, but a durasheen material is used instead. As the name implies, red is the primary accent color. The outsole, lower midfoot, heel and quarter panel arches show a bright shade of red. Touches of black can also be found throughout, further helping the namesake hue “pop.”
