If you missed out on your chance at a pair of “Super Reds” this weekend, well… you’re out of luck. The limited Asics Gel Lyte IIIs sold out in 5 minutes. For those keeping track at home, that’s a pair sold every 1.2 seconds or so. To commemorate the occasion, Asics, Guinness, Absolut and Ronnie teamed up and threw a release party.
Joell Ortiz, Consequence, AZ, DJ Enuff and DJ Soul were all on hand, as were a number of influential bloggers and footwear junkies. The shoe was obviously an overwhelming success, and the event appears to have been so just as much. Were you able to grab a pair online on Friday?
