Finally, after numerous previews, the Asics Gel Lyte III “Super Red” has been revealed in all its glory. Ronnie Fieg designed this pair as a follow-up to the “Super Blue” that released at the beginning of 2009, and these are set for a Summer release.
If you can’t prevent yourself from being distracted, you can see that this sneaker relies on multiple shades of grey for its base. A black midsole works with a matching liner to further the dark, neutral look. It’s the namesake “Super Red”accents that make this shoe what it is though. They appear at the base of the midfoot, the arches design, heel and the outsole. It’s safe to say that this shoe is one of the most anticipated Asics in some time.
