The Rocky franchise is celebrating its 45th anniversary and the Italian Stallion has teamed up with Italian heritage brand Diadora on a three-colorway collection on the N9002 featuring Rocky’s iconic rivals throughout the franchise’s films.
Designed by Philly-based artist Keith Shore, the sneakers feature Apollo Creed, Ivan Drago, and Clubber Lang respectively on each sneaker. The Apollo Creed pair features a patriotic USA theme, inspired by Apollo’s boxing trunks which feature the Stars and Stripes. The Drago pair is in a USSR colorway, and the Clubber Lang pair is featured in a tonal baby blue inspired by his trunks as well. All the sneakers feature Diadora’s logo on the quarter panel, the Rocky logo debossed on the lateral heel, and the tongue tag featuring their name respectively. The sneakers also feature their faces on a hangtag respectively as well as them punching Rocky on the insole.
