There aren’t many Air Jordan silhouettes – both old and new – that Richard Hamilton doesn’t already have. Among the most celebrated Jordan Brand athletes of all time, Rip recently flexed on Instagram with a pair that us normal folk continue to wait for.
Slated to release on October 24, the Air Jordan 8 “Three Peat” is already within the clutches of the former Detroit Pistons world champion. This new colorway of the Air Jordan 8 predates that of the Aqua colorway which drops on Black Friday.
The “Three Peat” moniker alludes to MJ’s first run of back-to-back-to-back trophy runs with the Bulls that concluded in 1993. The last of the Bulls three opponents were the Phoenix Suns, which inspire the shoe in tonal presence. Take a look below and mark October 24 for this Jordan Release Date.
