R H U D E founder Rhuigi and Puma have maintained a steady relationship throughout the past year, surprising audiences with high-profile looks among both classic and new silhouettes. This upcoming collaborative effort focuses on a Puma staple: the Suede.
Rhuigi’s visionary projects with the Boston-based brand continue to modernize and add stylistic flair to retro silhouettes. For this upcoming Suede capsule, the creative expert has included the Suede Lo and Mid.
This iteration of the Suede Lo features a mix of premium suede and leather. Oversized cream fat laces add to the neutral upper, while accents of green appear on the tongue and Suede formstrip. Plum accents can be found on the faux crocodile leather. Finishing off the pair, Rhuigi’s love for vintage is seen through the aged midsole.
Alongside the Lo, the not-often seen Suede Mid has been revitalized as well. Rhuigi has laid the imprint for a minimalistic classic with premium hairy suede and leathers, which are both dressed in black. Similar to the Lo, cream fat laces and an aged midsole are found along the sneaker’s design. Rhuigi’s namesake on the tongue finishes off the design.
Look for the Rhuigi x Puma Capsule Collection, which features two Suedes and apparel set, to release on June 12 through Puma.com for prices ranging between $50-$130.
