This Saturday, April 17th, 2010, Jordan Brand will release its fourth colorway of MJ’s sixth signature sneaker this year in the form of the Air Jordan 6 Retro”Detroit Pistons” for $150.
Much like the upcoming Air Jordan 6 Retro “LA Lakers”, this Air Jordan 6 Retro “Detroit Pistons” pays tribute to a team that MJ conquered in his career. Jordan once scored 61 points to help the Bulls defeat the Pistons and finally conquered the Bad Boys in the 1991 NBA Eastern Conference Finals after losing to them three consecutive years before that. As for the sneaker, it features a two-textured base with the predominance of the base covered in black nubuck. Black patent leather sections appear throughout the side panels/toe area, and the Pistons color scheme is visible throughout the sole. Lastly, an icy sole compliments this Air Jordan 6 nicely.
