Following last year’s inaugural sneaker-themed 3-on-3 basketball event, registration for the second annual Kick & Roll Classic is now open. Getting ready to take over the Round Rock Sports Center in Austin, Texas yet again on July 25th, the charitable tournament will be split into two age groups (15-18 and 19 and up), with each team needing four players to participate. Founded by our very own George Kiel III, Kick & Roll Classic is intent on raising awareness about colon cancer, the event will also honor colon cancer survivors, educate the youth about the affliction, generate revenue for colon cancer and encourage people to live a healthy lifestyle.
Sponsored by the Josh Childress Foundation and heavily supported by Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Co., prizes include a seven-item package for our “Shoe MVP” award, which features a Nike Kyrie 1 “2015 Kick & Roll Classic” iD, a “2015 Kick & Roll Classic” miadidas D Lillard 1 and a “Free-Stance Socks-for-a-Year” voucher.
