PUMA has been busy creating sneakers for the upcoming Gumball Rally (see SL Street, Comp Star) and the 2010 World Cup (see JB2010). In addition, we have spotted a two-sneaker grouping of the Speed Cat 2.9 Mid that is now available at select retailers worldwide.
If you recall, PUMA joined efforts with Gumball 3000 and constructed a Speed Cat 2.9 Mid for 2009’s Gumball Rally. One of the pairs involved in this lineup is very similar to the Speed Cat 2.9 that was released for last year’s event. It features black premium leather base that sits atop a white tire tread sole as opposed to the black tired tread sole seen on 2009’s pair. The remaining pair possesses a white premium leather base with minimal red hints on the PUMA logo, tongue and top laceholders. As stated earlier, both are now available worldwide.
