Monday, Day 14:
It seems like there are two types of days at Pensole.
1. Days where you grind out super hard just turning out sketch after sketch after sketch trying to turn out as many ideas as you can.
2. Walking around class, talking to homies and having homies come over to your wall trying to get feedback, on where you can improve, as well as looking at other people’s stuff and letting them know where they can improve.
You’re probably thinking that day type 1 sounds tougher than 2…… Wrong!
Walking around, looking at sketches of shoes all day, talking people through how they can improve their designs, as well as trying to think through people’s feedback, trying to decide what people to listen to and what people to ignore, is a mentally exhausting ordeal!
Thankfully my classmate are awesome (mandatory suck up) and I got some super dope advice, as well as D’wayne’s two cents.
I’ve got three pretty fresh directions to go in, and I’m really excited about the possibilities!
Also I got some really insightful feedback about how to make my project simpler, more intuitive and easier to use!
