Much like the Dunk, the Blazer was born on the hardwood and reborn on the halfpipe. Taking to that sentiment, the Oskar Rozenberg Hallberg x Nike SB Blazer sees the Swedish skater taking the model once worn for roundball by George Gervin and making it his own.

Featuring corduroy construction and the roller version of the Blazer proper, ingredients from the Sean Wotherspoon Air Max of the same material are apparent as is Cactus Plant Flea Market’s recent revival of the Blazer on the Nike By You platform.

Celebrating the thirtieth year of Nike Flight, the Nike Air Flight 89 has returned in the Black/White colorway that was a staple for pretty much every basketball sneaker of the era. Known originally as the Nike Air Flight, the shoe utilized the same tooling as the Air Jordan IV following the move done by the Air Revolution that shared the same midsole/outsole as the Air Jordan III.

The introduction of the Nike Air Flight was the dawn of the divide within Nike Basketball that built a separate line of products, Flight and Force, geared towards the faster players on the court while the bigger men who battled it out beneath the basket wore the Nike Force. Similar to the Nike Air Max III and Nike Air Max 90, the Nike Air Flight adopted the year model to the name once the retros were introduced about a decade after their initial debut.

The Nike Air Flight 89 is available now at Nike for $120.

All eyes, both literally and figuratively, are on the Nike Kyrie 6.

While Irving just started getting buckets in his latest and greatest signature shoe, the man in Brooklyn and his team in Beaverton are already looking ahead to his next few models.

Nike Kyrie 6

“Kyrie’s already got some ideas for the 6, 7 and 8, so that’s what we’re getting after. That’s the next move right now,” Uncle Drew design lead Ben Nethongkome told Sneaker Freaker.

“We’re even looking at some really blue-sky concepts for the 9. It’s going to be wild to see how it all comes alive.”

Nike Adapt BB

Blue-sky concepts you say? In the world of the Innovation Kitchen as it pertains to Nike Basketball, such a phrase aligns with ground-breaking, aspirational models like the Nike Air Foamposite One or Adapt BB.

While Kyrie’s signature line has been strong but relatively to tame in regards to price-point and new tech, could they really get weird, wild and expensive come the Kyrie 9?

We’re not mad at all at the accessibility of the Kyrie line at this juncture, however, we’re here for his ‘Foamposite’ so to speak.

Following a celebratory take on the Air Jordan 7, the Air Jordan 8 N7 is the latest retro JB signature to support Native American youth sports.

Stylistically, it may just be the best, too. Following in the footsteps of Levi’s collections, this is technically a workwear/menswear collab as Pendleton is in the fold. A wooly upper and thematic fabric play to the theme and third party while smoky tones make these a worthy winter wear.

New images emerged via Stadium Goods who suggest these will launch in the fourth quarter of 2019.

Nike has just confirmed a November 7th release date.

Kyrie Irving has a new home in Brooklyn. He also has a new shoe: the Nike Kyrie 6.

Returning a strap to the upper – last seen on the Kyrie 2 – the medial side of the shoe sees Yeezy 2 vibes around the collar, perhaps a nod to to Kyrie’s love of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 off court.

Zagging back to a lifestyle look, it’s not just Kanye’s second silo that appears to serve as muse but also Kyrie’s love for SBs as a padded tongue and collar channel classic Dunks.

Closing out the Nike Kyrie 6 is the all seeing eye now on the forefoot, a Zoom Turbo unit and 360 degree traction.

The Nike Kyrie 6 is set to release at retail in Jet Black on November 22nd.

This year in Brooklyn, Uncle Drew has been in his bag rotating various colorways of the Kyrie 5 in unreleased collab fashion. On the go for his sixth signature, the Nike Kyrie 6 Berlin finds the BK PG in his luggage for the first installment of his Nike SB-referencing “City Series” Pack of colorways.

In an awesome interview with Nike Senior Footwear Designer Ben Nethongkome by Gabe Filippa at Sneaker Freaker, Uncle Drew’s closest collaborator describes how the Air Jordan 2, Kyrie’s love of art and more inspired the latest and loudest signature for the All-Star.

At this moment in time, the Nike Kyrie 6 Berlin does not have an official release date yet, however, we expect it to kick off the Kyrie 6 campaign and 11 city-inspired colorways this season.

Supreme Digs Deep into the Archive for Lavish Nike Collab

The long-rumored Supreme x Nike Air Max 95 first surfaced in late September. To whom did debut duties belong to?

Drake.

Originally thought to be Liberace led with Swarovski styling, this pair proved much more muted upon first look with puffy, lux leather proving the calling card.

Collaborative branding is showcased in embossed fashion on the top panel of the medial side with the first preview coming by way of Aubrey Graham in “Triple Black” fashion.

Nike Air Max 95 Lux

As first noted, OGs in the game recognize the strongly similar sneaker above from the orange box era as the Nike Air Max 95 Lux. Dropping the gradient mesh and jewel branding in favor of a lux leather, blank upper straight from Italy over a decade back, Supreme is once again unarchiving a cult classic and bringing it to the masses.

Returning the same Made in Italy craftsmanship and hangtags, three colorways of the Supreme x Nike Air Max 95 Lux are slated for November 7th for a whopping $500 a pair.
