The NBA icon invested in the English football team back in 2011 and has continually showed his support over the years with sneakers like the Nike LeBron 9 Low “Liverpool,” Nike LeBron 9 Low “Reverse Liverpool,” and the LeBron James x Nike Air Max 1 “Liverpool” release.
Liverpool FC takes over LeBron’s latest silhouette as the team’s kit inspires the sneaker. The Nike LeBron 20 gets covered in “University Red” and is comprised of luxurious “Burgundy Crush” suede fit for the royal team.
The double-Swoosh features stacks scaled leather in shades of “University Red” and “Black,” as an ode to Liverpool’s mythical Mighty Red mascot that is embossed on the back of the heel. Elsewhere, the sneaker is finished with opulent details such as touches of “Metallic Gold” on the lace dubrae, eyelets, and script logo on the tongue.
