Shaquille O’Neal‘s cinematic career was far less successful than his NBA vocation, but Blue Chips was one of his productions that earned its title as a classic. To celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the film, Packer Shoes is collaborating with Reebok to create a commemorative edition of the shoes that Shaq wore on the movie cover; the Reebok Shaq Attaq. For those of you who have missed out on seeing the historic film, it is about a coach’s dilemma of whether or not to pay players to come play for him, with Shaq as one of the stars. To tease at their Packer Shoes x Reebok Shaq Attaq “Blue Chips”, the two brands who have had already had great success together show a “Friend of the Program” insole and the blue/yellow heel of the shoe on top of a pile of money. Also quoted to build anticipation is one of O’Neals most famous lines from the flick: “This course shoe is culturally biased.”
