Packer Shoes has just unveiled their next project with Reebok. A proud product of New Jersey, Packer Shoes is no stranger to illustrating history and telling stories through sneakers. For this upcoming project, the Teaneck sneaker spot is issuing a limited run of 500 pairs of the Reebok Question Mid Saint Anthony High School PE.
Saint Anthony High School of Jersey City, NJ has a historic boys basketball program led by hall of fame coach Bob Hurley Sr. for over to forty years. As Packer put it,
Coach Hurley has not only built and coached a tremendous program, but has given his all to the teams and each individual player he comes in contact with. For years, Coach Hurley has worked tirelessly to raise funds for the school and the program and has had the respect for those who have been affiliated with the school and those who have admired his tremendous efforts from afar.
The limited run of 500 pairs sold exclusively at Packer Shoes do more than just give people the chance to obtain a unique PE that was worn during their undefeated 2007-08 season – it gives back in a big way. Packer states that,
In the spirit of trying to bring to life projects which we as a store can stand behind we are bringing these storied shoes to life and with what we think is a good and right cause. We will be donating a portion of the proceeds from each shoe sold directly to the Saint Anthony High School program. Sometimes it’s just about the shoes but sometimes it’s more than that. This is one of those times.
Keeping an incredible attention to the finest details, Packer made only one slight change to the original PE versions. Rather than blank burgundy insoles, the special run will features insoles which we have tweaked to have the “HARD WORK” chant that the Friars break the huddle with.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 17th, Packer’s neighboring Teaneck High School will play host to the St. Anthony Friars as they play a scrimmage game. Following their afternoon scrimmage at the school, all are invited to join Packer Shoes and special guest Coach Bob Hurley Sr. as they will officially launch the “Saint Anthony Friars” Reebok Question Mid at 7pm sharp exclusively in-store only at Packer Shoes.

The SAHS Reebok Question Mid will be available in men’s sizes 6.5 thru 15 and with retail price set at $125 USD (no tax).
