The 2022 FIFA World Cup is well underway and to celebrate South Korea’s, aka the Republic of Korea (ROC), place at the grand tournament, adidas Korea has tapped creative studio Over the Pitch for a limited edition UltraBOOST DNA WC “Fevernovaa”.
Inspired by the Fevernova ball from the 2002 World Cup, which was co-hosed by South Korea and Japan, the Over the Pitch x adidas Korea UltraBOOST DNA WC “Fevernovaa” boasts the same gold and flame-like graphics throughout. Further elevating the offering is the special 20th-anniversary logo emblazoned on the heel and tongues, “dae han min guk” – meaning South Korea-written in Korean on the laces, the co-branded shoelace charms, as well as references to the dates and cities where the 2002 team played emblazoned on the insoles.
