Nike is the official sponsor of the NFL, and they are a product of the University of Oregon. Following the trend of the NFL’s support of breast cancer awareness, Nike is outfitting the Ducks with pink-heavy kits for their game against Washington State. The Ducks will rock bright pink Alpha Pro cleats, socks, gloves and helmets when they take the field this Saturday. After the game, the special helmets will be auctioned off to raise funds in support, with all proceeds from the auction donated to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Five helmets will be released each day for five consecutive days, including autographed versions by University of Oregon Head Coach Mark Helfrich and Oregon legends Dan Fouts, Joey Harrington, Ahmad Rashad and Phil Knight.

Tell us what you think of Oregon’s pink digs in the comment section below, and mark your calendars for the start of the auctions on October 19th at KayYow.com.
