Adidas teams up with UK sneaker store, Offspring, to create a second rendition of their 2019 Offspring x adidas “LDN to LA” ZX 9000. This collab is nothing short of intricate as it includes numinous details that capture the spirit of London.
The “London” is the first pair that will come out of the “LDN to LA” pack, which of course will be followed up with a sneaker dedicated to LA. This sneaker follows a blue, white, and red color story that honors the Union Jack. For contrast, the sneaker has off-white paneling and cool-grey accents that remind us of London’s gloomy skies. On the back side of the sneaker, an outline of River Thames is stamped on the heel counter, just above the coordinates that will lead you to the heart of London. A map of the city is printed on the insole and even includes map points of where to find Offspring’s London storefronts. We have to give it up to the lads at Offspring as this is a really well done sneaker that incorporates meaningful detail, without stepping into the boundaries of predictability. We’re super excited to see how this story ends on the LA version of this sneaker pack.
