It’s only been 2 years since notwoways first launched, but the brand has already built its own cult following. Founded by Callum McGinley and Rockwell Princely, the London-based footwear company continues to show the world that they have an impressive eye for sneaker design. For their Spring/Summer 2022 release, notwoways presents the all-new syzygy sneaker.
Yin and Yang served as the point of inspiration for the syzygy, hence the classic black and white colorway. Notwoways wanted to create a sneaker that represented balance, unity, and the perfection of alignment, which are values that underpin this design. The simple two-tone colorway allows for the design elements to stand on their own. The upper has a mesh base that is complemented with nubuck that wraps around the mid-panel and heel. The sneaker manages to add comfort through premium cushioning, while reducing the overall chunky design by minimizing the midsole. Other notable details include a semi-translucent pull tab, a “ntw” stamp on the forefoot, gold aglets, and notwoways branding on the tongue.
The notwoways syzygy releases on February 28, 2022. The price is set at £110 GBP (approx. $150). Worldwide shipping is available. Sizes range from UK3 – UK13.
