Deja brew; London-based sneaker brand notwoways is set to shake up the sneaker scene with its latest release, the Model 1 “Mokka”. Inspired by an nightmare coffee spill, founders Callum McGinley and Rockwell ‘Rocky’ Princely managed to find a fresh new colorway.
The Model 1, notwoways’ inaugural silhouette, landed over a year ago and has become a staple for ntw fans. Now landing in “Mokka”, the coffee-themed details set it apart. Brown suede elegantly flows above the off-white leather panelling, & black mesh underlays. Coffee-inspired rope laces and notwoways branding complete the look, with coffee-themed details on the tongue label adding an extra touch of sophistication to this limited release model. Staying true to notwoways’ commitment to exceptional comfort and fit, the Model 1 “Mokka” midsole and outsole, crafted from recycled materials, aligning with the brand’s sustainability ambitions. To address the coffee spillage inspiration, the Mokka is coated to repel liquids – take note.
The shoebox and tissue paper feature subtle design elements that tie back to the origin story. As an added bonus, each pair comes with a custom metal coffee stencil, allowing wearers to infuse their morning mocha with a distinctive notwoways vibe.
