Notwoways Closes the Year with Their “Apricity” Sneaker

Notwoways surprises us all with a last minute release of the notwoways “Apricity.” This sneaker is a follow-up to the notwoways “Saphfire” that released at the beginning of last month. More than just a fresh colorway, this sneaker honors notwoways’ roots and is a marker of how far the brand has come. This colorway debuted back during notwoways’ first “Exbuerance” drop earlier this year. The London-based sneaker brand saw their first success as the sneaker sold-out within a minute. Since then, the brand has built somewhat of a cult following that embodies, “IYKYK.”

The inspiration for “Apricity” comes from its meaning —  the sun’s warmth in winter. You can see this concept come to life as the upper has a snowy white base that sits atop an icy blue midsole. The silhouette gets a bit of warmth with hints of fiery orange on the pull tab and underlay. The ankle collar has a knitted black makeup that is finished with notwoways branding.
