Nike’s New Dunks Pays Homage To World’s Oldest Indoor Basketball Court

Believe it or not but the oldest indoor basketball court in the world is located in a YMCA in Paris, France. Wanting to properly honor the Rue de Trévise court, which has been around since 1893, Nike has created two all new premium iterations of the Dunk Low.

Drawing inspiration from the court, the Nike Dunk Low PRM QS  comes in two colorways – “Elemental Gold” and “Ale Brown.” Both versions feature aged leather uppers in a herringbone pattern, which draws inspiration from the actual Trévise court and the original leather basketball. Stitched Swoosh logos, gold hits at the heels and a replica commemorative plaque that’s displayed in the gym completes the look.

Only 200 pairs of each colorway were made, so be ready to pounce on snkrs.com (not the same as Nike’s SNKRS site) on June 10.
