Along with this upcoming “Halo” Kobe 9 Elite, Nike Basketball will also be re-releasing the beloved “Christmas” color scheme of the Kobe 9 Elite Protro for the Holiday 2024 season.
The fan-favorite silhouette, which was Kobe’s ninth signature, originally dropped in a “Christmas” colorway back in December 2014. Notably, the pair gained attention when the Lakers players wore them against the Chicago Bulls on Christmas day that year.
From a first look, the upcoming Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro “Christmas” will sport a predominantly bright crimson outfit accented with contrasting black and white detailing on the leather and Flyknit and Flywire upper and graphic midsoles. Further elevating the pair are the embroidered black Swooshes and matching black Kobe logos on the tongues. Additionally, the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro “Christmas” will feature updated tech and modern materials, as well as a carbon fibre plate below.
