It was pretty?apparent?from the start that this first round pick was not going to be later remembered as a first round bust. ?Larry Fitzgerald hit the turf running in Arizona for coach Dennis Green who was the coach at Minnesota while Larry was a ball boy. ?Late in his rookie season at the age of 21, Fitzgerald became the youngest player ever to catch two TD’s in a game. ?The following season Larry earned himself a Pro-Bowl selection while snagging 103 passes for 1,409 yards and 10 TD’s.
Only three seasons later, Larry Fitzgerald and the Arizona Cardinals became NFC Champions losing in one of the closest Super Bowls ever to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
