Giannis Antetokounmpo and his signature shoe cooked up another colorway inspired by the 1988 film Coming to America. In the latest rendition of the Nike Zoom Freak 1, we see a traditional red plaid mixed in with a dark green and an opal blue that come together on the upper.
The Nike Zoom Freak 1 “Employee of the Month” is inspired by Prince Akeem, played by the great Eddie Murphy, and his prestigious award when working at McDowell’s. The colorway plays on the uniform featuring the same plaid worn on the beret and vest of Akeem.
