There’s ancient Greek gods and then there’s Greek men.

There’s no difference in telling who — or what — Giannis Antetokounmpo is. The Greek Freak is listed at 6’11” and 242 lbs of pure force, grace and skill.

The reigning NBA MVP was just a kid out of Athens who would eventually become drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2013.

He went from having the “toughest name to pronounce” to becoming a phenom who nobody can stop talking about. Giannis. The Greek Freak. Alphabet Soup. MVP. Freak. Antetokounmpo.

Now, the Greek Freak is everywhere. After much anticipation, Antetokounmpo’s first signature shoe has released and made an absolute splash.

Nike Zoom Freak 1

The Nike Zoom Freak 1 is well crafted like the Greek Pantheon.

The shoe features a double-stacked Zoom Air unit for maximum comfort\. In addition to that, the internal band system found in the forefoot keeps you locked-and-loaded whether you’re grabbing boards, driving to the rim or finishing a filthy Eurostep. The padded collar and tongue provide a cushioned fit that keeps your feet snug and secure in soft styling.

Did we mention that the shoe goes for only $120 USD?

If the technological aspects and price point don’t convince you, maybe the colorways will. From The Drew League, to the WNBA to even Giannis’s own brother Kostas, we’ve seen some amazing iterations of the Nike Zoom Freak 1.

Take a look at every single Nike Zoom Freak 1 below to hit the hardwood thus far. Keep it locked here at Nice Kicks throughout the course of the year as more colorways will release.
