The Ultraposite was another shoe in the Nike Alpha Project series and had a foamposite upper that was enclosed by a zipper and wrapped around a Dynamic-fit sleeve insert. For cushioning, the shoe had a full-length Zoom Air unit with a double-stacked unit in the heel for extra padding.? The outsole was herringbone with an exposed carbon fiber plate in the mid foot.? The main feature of this shoe were the TPU support pods on the outside the shoe and although they looked classy and shiny, one big knock on the Ultraposites were that the TPU plates scuffed up easily and really hurt the look of the shoe.? Nonetheless, the shoe was incredibly light and sturdy for quick guards on the move.
