Another OG Foamposite is Set to Return

The heralded Nike Air Foamposite One never got a formal sequel. Sure, there was the Foamposite Pro – an offshoot or slight takedown depending on how you look at things – and there was also the Flightposite 1 which evolved the OG.

The closest thing to an actual sequel? The rough and tough Nike Total Air Foamposite Max.

Worn by Tim Duncan and David Robinson down in San Antonio, this was every bit a big man shoe. Flashier than either of its endorsers, the full-length Air Foamposite was a titan of tech whose silver exterior and high price point made these a status symbol across the East Coast.

Last seen in 2011, the Nike Total Air Foamposite Max OG is reported to return in 2020. Get the history behind this shoe by clicking here.
