Classic trainer sneakers seem to be making a productive comeback this year. In 2009, we have already spotted the Air Trainer III “Medicine Ball”, two colorways of the Air Trainer II and the Air Trainer SC which will hit retailers later this year. However, Nike has unleashed the prestigiuous MMX Collection at select retailers such as Sport Chek.

First off, this particular collection was designed for the Nike athletes that will be preparing for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games. Three high performance Nike training models will be involved in the MMX Collection including the Nike Trainer 1 (right), the Nike Free SPARQ 09 and the Nike Zoom Swift TR. Each shoe contains a black/white-red color scheme and possesses gold colored symbols of Canadian hockey culture throughout the base. Click here to view the collection in its entirety.
