When Nike took their most iconic model and integrated their new Lunarlon technology into the midsole to make it light and more comfortable, it was unclear whether or not the hybrid would ever be seen on a high-top. Question answered. The Nike Lunar Force 1 Hi HUP QS “NYC” takes the strapped AF1 and gives it a ride on the cushy midsole. Paying its respects to New York City, don’t sleep on this NSW shoe. Sporting a black nubuck upper with pink detailing, a textured Lunar midsole and ice blue outsole, this revamped classic is durable. “NYC” is stamped on the heel to give the sneaker a personalized touch.
This LF 1 Hi is set to make its entrance as part of an upcoming collection of city-inspired Lunar Forces, and will be releasing on August 17th at select Nike outlets around the globe.
